NEW WAY OF LEARNING
At Apogee League City, our young leaders learn in a collaborative squad of multi-age leaders. Our flexible approach challenges each student with their own differentiated learning plan and inspires them through real-world projects and experiences. Our Leader-Led Community puts the young leaders at the center of their learning, allowing them to create and achieve personal goals.

Obtain the core academic skills of reading, writing, and basic math using real world applications. With these skills, our young leaders will have the tools to move forward at their own pace and enhance these skills by going as far and as fast in these subjects as they wish.
Throughout the year, our young leaders will complete numerous hands-on projects that practice skills needed to solve real-world problems. Furthermore, they will gain powerful insight and experience through exposure to many different career paths along the way.
Our squads hold daily Socratic discussions over a wide range of topics which promote strong critical thinking, communication, and speaking skills. Rather than telling young leaders what to think, we show them how to think.
Leadership in the community is a key focus on our campus. We don't just show our young leaders what it means to be educated, we also show them what it means to give back and how to use their education to help others in the community and around the world.
Real physical health and education is a daily priority on our campus. Our younger squads practice tons of physical play and movement while our older squads start to learn and practice workouts of various kinds. All young leaders learn about their physiology and how to use it to their advantage.
Too many students leave school not having a clue about themselves or what they would like to do in this world. Younger squads explore different jobs and responsibilities on campus while older squads get to explore off-campus internships and apprenticeships with the possibility of earning paid positions.
Leader’s Choice Time is a time every day where children get to follow their curiosity, explore what lights them up, and feel trusted to choose their own path. Art? Building? Sport? Language? You name it! It’s a moment of freedom, creativity, and self-discovery—where confidence grows and learners begin to see themselves as capable, curious leaders as they work on learning and improving the skill(s) of their choice.
Fridays are for FUN! On Fridays, we set the academics aside and head outdoors to League Park for extra time to play, explore, and connect. It’s also when we take field trips, dive into collaborative hands-on PBL experiences, and welcome community members who share their stories, wisdom, and career paths—opening our young leaders’ eyes to the many possibilities life holds.
The Young Leaders’ Business Fair is a celebration of creativity, courage, and real-world learning. Our leaders design, build, and run their own mini businesses—developing ideas, solving problems, and learning what it means to create value for others. It’s not just about selling; it’s about confidence, communication, and discovering what they’re capable of.
Spark Sessions are short, two-week explorations designed to introduce learners to new skills, ideas, and passions in a fun, low-pressure way. From photography to BJJ, ASL to drums, these sessions give kids the chance to try something new, discover what excites them, and build confidence through curiosity. It’s all about planting seeds—no stress, just inspiration.
