Our mission is to strengthen families by using education to create a journey of growth for the entire family, bringing everyone closer in the process.

Curry + Madison Fattig
We’re Madison + Curry Fattig- the owners of Apogee League City. Apogee has been on our hearts since before opening our own became a possibility, and it’s been beyond our wildest dreams to see it come to fruition.
Before Apogee League City ever had a name, we were living the realities that led us here. I (Madison) experienced firsthand the challenges of teaching within the limits of the system that didn’t always honor how children learn best, and I (Curry) watched that struggle up close. As parents, we knew we didn’t want our son’s curiosity, joy, or natural love of learning to slowly dim. We wanted him to have space to move, explore, ask questions, and be fully himself. That clarity led us to make a big leap—selling our home to pour into opening Apogee League City in 2024.
And now here we are- incredibly excited to be on this journey! Not only to be able to provide this opportunity to our sons, who are our driving force, but for as many families as we can in the community. Why? Because we believe kids deserve it. They deserve to have a place where their curiosity is ignited and encouraged. A place to be free, to be children, and to discover themselves. A place that fosters a love of learning + teaches them how to think, instead of what to think. They deserve a place that feels like home + appreciates who they are. And that is what we've created here at Apogee League City.

Madison Fattig - Owner + Director
I graduated from UHCL in 2016 with a Bachelors in Education. I was a public-school teacher for 8 years and taught 4th-6th grade reading and writing, with most of my years in 4th grade. It was a bittersweet closing of a chapter, but I left the classroom in 2024 to pour my heart into Apogee League City and its mission. As a teacher, I went into the profession with the passion to be a positive role model and meaningfully impact lives (shout-out to all the amazing teachers out there!), and I have gotten immense fulfillment pursuing that same life-long dream, albeit in a new capacity, in my position as Director since opening ALC in 2024.
I’m also a mother to a kind, free-spirited, fun, smart, and adventurous 6-year-old named Everett and a joyous, lovable 6-month-old, Rex. Motherhood has transformed my life in the most beautiful ways and is a title I carry with honor. Getting a front row seat to their lives and being alongside them as they discover the world is the greatest gift. It is also the greatest motivation to be the best version of myself, and I continually strive to do that by leading by example and modeling what it means to be a human- the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
In my free-time, I enjoy spending time with my family + friends, exercising, running, reading, photography, watching shows/movies, and being outdoors—hiking, kayaking, riding bikes, going to the park—you name it!

Curry Fattig - Owner + Discover Coach
I graduated from the University of Houston - Clear Lake with a Bachelors in Biological Sciences and a Masters in Business Administration in 2018. I have held my career in healthcare sales from 2016-2023 where I left my Senior Manager position to start Apogee League City with my wife, Madison.
I am also a member of Apogee Strong which is where I learned the true value and meaning of education and how it is severely lacking in schools across the country.
I am a father to three incredible boys, Everett, Rex, and Jace. Watching them grow up and witnessing first-hand their innate desires to play, explore, and learn is what drives my passion behind this mission. I am continually growing as a father and enjoy watching my boys get better as I get better.
My hobbies include exercising of all kinds, jiu jitsu, fishing, baseball, recreational sports, learning new skills/hobbies, being a part of Apogee Strong Men, watching movies, reading good books, camping, hiking, cooking, and anything outdoors.

Ashley Atherton - Ignite Squad Coach
Originally from Minnesota, Ashley graduated in 2011 from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelors in Art Education. She moved to Houston for her student teaching and ended up staying to start her career in Art Education in 2012.
Ashley has spent majority of her career teaching early elementary. Working with kids and finding new ways to inspire, motivate and guide children to become the best versions of themselves is her passion. It has been a privilege for her to have been able to do that through the arts the past 12 years.
In Texas like fashion, Ashley met her husband, Tanner, at the Houston Rodeo Cook off in 2013. They have one helpful and encouraging 6-year-old girl and one active and fun loving 4-year-old boy. They enjoy farmers markets, gardening, watching movies together, hanging out with friends and family, and visiting the Art studios and museums around Houston when we can.
